Edgar Evins State Park
Edgar Evins State Park is a 6000 acre Tennessee State park located at Center Hill Lake. The park offers numerous outdoor recreation activities for the whole family. Activities include, camping, rental cabins, boating, fishing, hiking, nature watching, and swimming. Edgar Evins also has picnic shelters, a conference center, and an amphitheatre.
Edgar Evins has 60 tent and RV campsites with water and electrical hook-ups available. Approx. 20 campsites and 1 bath house are available year round. Campsites feature grills, tables and fire rings. A number of primitive campsites are also available. Campground facilities include 3 bathhouses with hot showers, dump station and laundry facilities. Campsite reservations are recommended. The park has 34 one bedroom suite cabins available. There are 5 buildings that house 6 one bedroom suites and 1 building that has 4 one bedroom suites. The cabins can accommodate up to 6 adults and feature 2 double beds, sleeper sofa, all linens, cooking utensils, appliances, satellite TV, central heat and A/C. The recreation activities at Edgar Evins State park include 11 miles of moderate to advanced hiking trails. The hiking trails are a great way to get some exercise and view the beauty of the Center Hill Lake surroundings. Center Hill Lake provides excellent fishing opportunities for various species of fish from bass to bluegill. Fishing is permitted from the banks of the lake through-out the park. Picnic shelters can be reserved in advance.
